SO is the PJ saying that there was definitely NO syringe and tranquilisers in the room........or are they refusing to confirm that there was?

So why to publish these kind of smears and calomnies before checking earnestly your material sources? Is that what is called "journalism"?

Anonymous,

Does not confirm means does not confirm... For me it's clear, Olegario de Sousa does not confirm thata a syringe was found at McCann's apartment

Paulo, you are a newspaper writer and you know better than I that we can choose what to bring into focus....

Monica,

I know how it's possible to do a story from nothing. I think that, reading what I published in Gazeta Digital, it's clear that groundless accusations are not exactly my speciality. I am a strong critic of the kind of journalism that never allows truth to kill a good story. I made it clear in the links about the POrtuguese and British Press Gutter News and Journalists. But the question why to publish that kind of news should be adressed to other journalists. I'm not responsible for what others do.
