'Find Madeleine's body and prove we killed her': McCanns' challenge to police

Daily Mail, 12th September 2007

“The McCanns have issued a challenge to Portuguese police investigating Madeleine's disappearance saying:
"Find the body and prove we killed her." It is understood their lawyers have told them that without a body it will be extremely difficult for the authorities to press charges. A close friend said: "The legitimate question to ask Portuguese police is: 'Where is the body? Where's the evidence that madeleine is dead? We have got no idea.'"

Find the body?

Tell me where I should look? What have you done with the body? Oh sorry, I forgot this was one of the questions they wouldn't answer before fleeing Portugal.

Look at this picture is this normal. They said they believed a predator, a paedophile, abducted their daughter yet they look overjoyed. They look like people promoting the start up of a new business.

This couple is special. It appears that if you criticize these two in the British media, you are immediately put in your place. I don’t understand it, is this couple privy to knowledge not meant for the common public or has Britain adopted this couple as icons, model citizens who are beyond reproach?

I guess they are just following the advice of pychologists that told them not to show distress. I guess they were trying for an Academy Award performance.

BAFTA Award Canada - please your comments are not helpful. ;)

America has enough ludicrous criminals making money off of their hurtful crimes.

Although one may assume if the McCanns register in time they could qualify in the Academy's 'Most Ludicrous Foreign Criminal' category? :)
