Martin Brunt: Madeleine's disappearance "becoming a soap opera"

"Today, the Madeleine McCann story develops into a slanging match between their spokesman and suspect Robert Murat's mother. I understand that some of it is stirred up by reporters looking for an angle, but it's becoming more of a soap opera each day. And I don't know anyone who understands what that detective agency is doing to justify £50,000 a month?"

I read some articles on Murats mother and what I can't understand is how the British press describe her statements as "an astonishing attack"....huh? Whats so astonishing? And why call it an attack when clearly it is defensive.

The British press calls a lot of things an "astonishing attack" when it comes to the McCann saga. Yet bombs continue to explode in Basra and over 170 British troops killed in Iraq go unnoticed.

Therefore I conclude that the British press believes the news from Iraq is apparently nothing "astonishing" or anything that could be deemed an "attack". And so it is not newsworthy.

But one missing girl to this press corps amounts to a whole lotta' of something?

Compassion?
Concern for other missing children?

Or......

Deflection, deception and misinformation?

Increased revenue?

The British press is sickening and anyone who buys these tabloids and broadsheets or purchases merchandise advertized in them should be ashamed of themselves. Same goes for buying anything from Virgin or products and/or services by the other billionaires who are supporting the McCanns.

The only way to make your voices heard is to hit these media orgs and nefarious billionaires where it hurts. Obviously their hearts are the least vulnerable. And if their reporting skills and allegiances indicate anything it would be that their minds are even more corrupt than their hearts. So one must firmly and squarely aim for their gluttonous bank accounts.

I wonder if Brunt's criticism of M3 indicates SKY NEWS is no longer the McCann media-megaphone?

It took Brunt long enough to come to his riveting conclusion. Especially since he claims to be a 'crime reporter' or is his 'Life of Crime' gig a reference to Brunt himself?

Apparently Clarence is a target now. There's also a match with
Manuel Domingues Borba.

Now that there is alot of bad press out there for the McCanns today, I wonder what kinda spin they are going to come back with tomorrow. I can't wait to see how low they can go with this....

Oh, I read the spin this morning....McCann private detectives KNOW she is in the Iberian Peninsula of Northern Africa, being held by pedophiles, and will be back by Christmas....yep, its a soap opera
...and these are "The Days of Our Lives...."

Congratulations to the Paulette´s comments.
I have promised to myself do not write anymore (crying for Maddie).

But so many young british soldiers send to the dead....(excuse my bad english).

Paulo,
McCann “supporters” are all media script writers, self-employed, self-promoting “news producers” and videographers who “investigate” by just lying down on the apartment terrace and pointing the camera up and down, back and forth, as though this is somehow investigative or indicative….

Did you read the article on Murat's girlfriend...Daily Mail? Heartbreaking. I wonder if the McCanns have any feelings of guilt at all...if not for leaving their daughter, or whatever happened to her that night, or for the lives of others they have ruined since then...
