The McCann versus Leicestershire Police

The McCanns hope their application to Mrs Justice Hogg will result in Leicestershire Police opening their files on scores of reported sightings of Madeleine, most of which have been passed on to them by police in Portugal, where the four-year-old disappeared in May last year,” wrote The Telegraph

The case will be heard in open court on July 7, in the Family Division of the High Court in London. Leicestershire Police is expected to contest the request, according to legal sources quoted by The Telegraph. The newspaper also refers that "Mrs Justice Hogg, a specialist in child welfare cases, is the sister of former cabinet minister Douglas Hogg and the daughter of former Lord Chancellor Lord Hailsham."

Oh my! They have hastened their preparation for their defence in court; first asking people who were interviewed by the police to inform them about what was said and now trying to force the Police to let them see their case file. Like the OJ case they will try to portray the Police as not being thorough in doing their job. We all remember OJ don’t we and of course we all believe in innocent until proven guilty, so I guess he must be innocent. Is this article trying to imply that they have the presiding judge in this Leicestershire case in their pocket? Nothing would surprise me when it comes to these two. Are they not trying to legally
violate Portugal's secrecy laws?

And a picture photo from Mcs.

I don't think it is a wise idea for the McCanns to antagonise their own Police force...

If they are going to have access to the files on 14 July, what is the purpose to take this action a week before?

It seems again they are DESPERATE, otherwise they wouldn't buy a war with their police, too.

They have to do something don't they?

After all the Portugueese police have merely tried to pin the blame on the Mccanns and have hardly shown any activity to find the real criminals involved.

I bet you dont post this either.

Of course Alan the Portuguese police like spending millions trying to pin the McCanns who have the protection and support of high society in Britain; the PJ like being slandered all over the world. The Portuguese police must like doing it the hard way, they could’ve just settled for incriminating Mr Murat who no one cares about or perhaps some innocent bystander pointed out by the McCann team to the public. You must be one of those naïve people I was talking about in a previous post.

Oh dear Alan, so naive.

If so naive - please explain what efforts the portuguese police have made to investigate other possibilities than the parents.

Also why did Mr Ribeiro state that the McCanns had been named arguidos far too hastily.

Please answer the questions and not try to accuse me of naivety.
