Kate McCann: "She hated it when we called her Maddie...”

Kate McCann, "The Mirror", August 13, 2007:
(...)"Kate even joked that Madeleine is probably giving her kidnapper a taste of her forceful character. She said: "Madeleine is such a sociable child, so funny and engaging. She has a lot of personality. Her name actually means 'tower of strength'. She hated it when we called her Maddie. She'd say 'My name is Madeleine' with an indignant look." (...)

The Press Association, August 6, 2008
Private detectives for Kate and Gerry McCann are pursuing a report that a little girl calling herself "Maddy" was seen in Holland just after their daughter Madeleine vanished (...) The Dutch sighting was perhaps the most promising of the lines of inquiry that emerged on Tuesday (...) Shop assistant Anna Stam, 41, said she spoke to a little girl aged three or four in Amsterdam who said her name was "Maddy" and replied to a question about her mother: "They took me from my holiday."

Good morning!

I can write enough english,so I must writein portuguese.

Bom dia e continuação do excelente trabalho.

The McCanns have friends in Holland from living and working their.

It was a Dutch citizen who demanded money for information in Mr Amarale's book. Amid the tension Gerry 'sucked and lollipop' and chatted to police about football/rugby. One of several counts of bizzare attitude and behaviour.

Mr. Reis, you are truly a star. Imagine that, you alone were able to figure out something that doesn't of idiots of several british papers weren't able to figure out. Then again, you don't know to put half-naked girls on your blog to get people to read it.

Please keep up the good work. I am sure this whole affair has given you many headaches and that at times you have probably wondered why you are working so hard on this, but never forget that joe public counts on people like you to give us the news, we certainly can't count on paid puppets.

Mr. Reis, you are a true journalist. Stand proud.

The author has absolutely no understanding of a 3 year old child's emotions or vocabulary !

Apart from the fact police evidence exists confirming Madeleine died in her parents apartment, she was an 'abandoned' child, left alone with two baby siblings.

The McCanns have friends in Holland. A 'lost' child's reaction would definitely not be that reported. Kate's mother told the press that Madeleine would 'raise hell - kick and scream if anyone tried to 'abduct' her.

Whilst she was heard crying alone for l hr and 15 mins on l May, following by a reported 'rumpus' on her parents being summoned, the children 'slept soundly' whilst alone for the rest of the holiday. So soundly, in fact, PJ rightly suspected sedation. I expect they also noticed Kate's injuries, cut above right eye, bruising to eye and grip mark bruising on arms and wrists, visible in TV interview shortly after 3 May. The police were smart - injured mother, missing daughter, very unusual combo.

McCanns rowed before snatch

The Sun

Published: Today, 06 August 2008

KATE and Gerry McCann rowed and

slept in separate bedrooms

the night before daughter

Maddie was snatched from their holiday apartment in Portugal.

Evidence in the police files released earlier this week says

that in an interview on September 6

, Kate, 40, told detectives she was angry with her Gerry because he had ignored her during dinner at the Tapas Bar restaurant.

The astonishing claim came as a letter to Portuguese cop Paulo Rebelo was also released in the files, in which Kate begs for the police to join forces with her and Gerry in the hunt for Maddie.

On the night before Maddie

Kate slipped off and slept in the children's room with Maddie, then three, and twins Sean and Amelie, then two.

The witness statement reads:

"When asked if she ever slept in Madeleine's room, she said that happened on Wednesday because she had fallen out with Gerry after he ignored her after dinner when they went to the tapas bar.

"This only happened on that day. She decided to retaliate by sleeping in another room in the bed near the window.

"She does not know whether Gerry was aware that she slept in the other room as he was already asleep when she left.

"If in fact her husband was aware of this situation, he did not comment on it."

Mrs McCann also told police

that Madeleine slept in the room
she and her husband occupied on May 1 last year.

Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns' spokesman, refused to comment on the contents of the witness statement.

I just read this also:
"The so-called, "unexplored," Dutch sighting ... it is mentioned in the report. The lead was followed up. The authorities did what was necessary." News From My Big Desk (original from Enfants Kidnappes)
As we do not have the files ... we would expect journalists to tell us the whole story not only a part of it... otherwise we'll be convinced (as we already are) that there is the intention of deceit.

We have learned today that the Nanny said that Madeleine was afraid of the sea. I certainly hope she is no where near the ocean.

The Sun & Express are Mitchell's favoured outlets for publishing misinformation. Gerry must have been paralytic drunk not to notice he was sleeping alone.

Was he similarly 'out of it' the night MW summoned him and Kate to attend to their abandoned daughter ?

The Tapas group were dining at Chaplins on 1 May (truthformadeleine), not the Tapas bar.
